1.    Book Exhibition:

A book exhibition was also organized, displaying a wide range of Hindi literature, including novels, poetry and essays. The exhibition provided participants and visitors an opportunity to explore the richness of Hindi literature and inspired many to delve deeper into reading and appreciating works in Hindi. It featured classic hindi authors and contemporary writers such as Munshi Premchand, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, Uday Prakash, Geetanjali Shree etc.

2.    Slogan Writing Competition:

Place: Central Library

A ‘Slogan Writing Competition’ was conducted for students to highlight the importance of Hindi in modern India. The participants were tasked with creating impactful and inspiring slogans on themes such as ‘The promotion of significance of Hindi’. The competition saw vibrant participation, with slogans that creatively captured the cultural and national importance of Hindi. The winning slogans were displayed prominently within the library premises, earning widespread appreciation. By keeping in mind the language style of the slogan, depth of the subject matter and creativity, the Judge Dr. Neha Singhi (Assistant Professor, Department of Indian Literature & Languages) selected the winner.

3.    Poster Making Competition:

Place: Central Library

To further highlight the importance of Hindi, a ‘Poster Making Competition’ was also held, witnessing the enthusiastic participation, where students showcased their artistic skills and expressed their thoughts on the importance of Hindi. The posters reflected themes such as the beauty of Hindi, its role in national unity, and its cultural heritage. The winning posters were displayed prominently within the library. The Judge Dr. Ujjwala Tiwari (Director School of Fine Arts) appreciated the efforts of the participants and evaluated the posters by dividing them into two categories, keeping in the view creativity, accuracy of the subject and presentation.

4.    Logo Designing Competition:

In a bid to combine creativity with linguistic pride, a ‘Logo Designing Competition’ was organized. Participants were invited to design logos that symbolized Hindi as a unifying force in the country. The logos were judged on creativity and originality, aesthetic appeal and design execution. The Judge of the activity was by Mr. Kaustub Vyas (Assistant Professor, Multimedia & Animation, CSIT), who diligently went through the Logos designed by students, and selected the best based on the creativity, thoughtfulness and the justification of the theme.
