To train the students in practical librarianship in the working environment of the library by deputing them in different types of libraries for one month.
To train them in preparing the Internship report on their practical learning and training.
To expose themselves to automated and networked libraries.
Internship Programme
During II Semester , students will undergo internship training of one month in a library, so that they get to know the working practices, conditions and acquire an in depth technical skills. The students shall prepare a report and submit it. She will be required to make the presentation of the work followed by viva-voce. The student is also required to get the certificate from the concerned organization/ institution/etc. regarding successful training.
